The title of this post was catchphrase of Mr. T. He is an American actor, television personality, and retired professional wrestler. He is known for his roles as B.A. Baracus in the 1980s television show The A-Team. He is also known for his distinctive hairstyle inspired by Mandinka warriors in West Africa. He is also a Christian.

Well I pity the fools today. Those in positions of power who are abusing that authority, stating that Christians are domestic terrorists. This is according to an article in Christianity Daily (‘Domestic Terrorism’ Bill Could Target Pro-Life Christians, Almost ‘Half Of The Country’: Tulsi Gabbard) by Minnie Agdeppa on Jan 25, 2021

“The new “Domestic Terrorism” Bill could target pro-life Christians and almost “half of the country” said former Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard in an interview with Fox News Primetime Host Brian Kilmeade last Friday.

The National Review reported that Gabbard was alarmed at Illinois Representative Brad Schneider’s proposed bill, H.R.350, that’s meant to prevent the likes of the U.S. Capitol riot of Jan. 6 from happening again could be used “to undermine civil liberties.”

“What characteristics are we looking for as we are building this profile of a potential extremist? What are we talking about?” Gabbard raised “Religious extremists, are we talking about Christians, evangelical Christians? What is a religious extremist? Is it somebody who is pro-life? Where do you take this?”

“You start looking at obviously, have to be a white person, obviously likely male, libertarians, anyone who loves freedom, liberty, maybe has an American flag outside their house, or people who, you know, attended a Trump rally,” she stressed.”

This is America? Fools slapping generalized labels on huge chunks of the populations? What is the ultimate goal? And why?

I believe it is because they do not believe in God, and must attack those whose beliefs are different than theirs. Sad, very sad. And like Mr. T, I pity the fools too. When you get right down to it, what an awful way to live.

About a year ago, I noticed that Psalms 14 and 53 are very similar.

Psalm 14  The Passion Translation (TPT)

God looks down from Heaven (a)

14  For the Pure and Shining One, by King David
1  Only the withering soul[b]  would say to himself,
“There is no God.”
Anyone who thinks like this is corrupt and callous,
depraved and detestable, devoid of what is good.
2  The Lord looks down in love,
bending over heaven’s balcony,
looking over all of Adam’s sons and daughters.
He’s looking to see if there is anyone who acts wisely,
any who are searching for God and wanting to please him.
3  But no, everyone has wandered astray,
walking stubbornly toward evil.
Not one is good; he can’t even find one.
4  Look how they live in luxury while exploiting my people!
Won’t these workers of wickedness ever learn?
They don’t ever even think of praying to God.
5  But just look at them now, in panic, trembling with terror.
For the Lord is on the side of the generation of loyal lovers.

when the workers of wickedness oppress them.
7  How I wish that Israel’s rescue
would arise from the midst of Zion!
When his people are restored,

The Wickedness of the World

For the Pure and Shining One
A contemplative song of instruction to the tune of “The Dancings of Mourning”[a]

1  Only the withering soul would say to himself,[b]
“There’s no God for me!”
Anyone who thinks like that is corrupt and callous;
depraved and detestable, they are devoid of what is good.
2  The Lord looks down in love, bending over heaven’s balcony.
God looks over all of Adam’s sons and daughters,
looking to see if there are any who are wise with insight—
any who search for him, wanting to please him.
3  But no, all have wandered astray, walking stubbornly toward evil.
Not one is good; he can’t even find one!

Won’t these workers of wickedness ever learn!
They never even think of praying to God.
5  Soon, unheard-of terror will seize them while in their sins.
God himself will one day scatter the bones

As you know, I love the footnotes in The Passion Translation, here’s the one that best explains them.

The word for “fool” comes from a Hebrew word meaning “withering.” If we make no room for God, we have withered hearts, our moral sense of righteousness is put to sleep, and the noble aspirations of the heart shrivel up and die. Ps. 14 and 53 are nearly similar psalms. 14 deals with God’s verdict, while 53 speaks of God’s vengeance. If God says it once, it is to be believed. If he says it twice, it demands our utmost attention!

“The poorest way to face life is to face it with a sneer.” [Teddy Roosevelt.] He further stated, “a cynical habit of thought and speech, a readiness to criticize work which the critic himself never tries to perform, an intellectual aloofness which will not accept contact with life’s realities—all these are marks, not … of superiority but of weakness.” Someone who shuns and turns people off with their pride.

But God knows their hearts and will have the final say.

[God speaking] “I have called you so often but you still won’t come. I have pleaded, but all in vain. For you have spurned my counsel and reproof. Some day you’ll be in trouble, and I’ll laugh! Mock me will you?—I’ll mock you! When a storm of terror surrounds you, and when you are engulfed by anguish and distress, then I will not answer your cry for help. It will be too late though you search for me ever so anxiously. For you closed your eyes to the facts and did not choose to reverence and trust the Lord, and you turned your back on my, spurning my advise. That is why you must eat the bitter fruit of having your own way, and experience the full terrors of the pathway you have chose. For you have turned away from me—to death; your own complacency will kill you, Fools!” (Proverbs 1:24-32 [TLB])

Will you join me in praying for those in power that they are not too late in accepting the love God has for them? The storm of terror is coming, and our freedoms, way of life, and possibly our very life, depends on it!
