I’ve been super busy finishing up tax returns and have not had a chance to post. But I read this the other day and had to share it with you all.

From Everyday Courage by John Bevere

When the fierce wind and waves crashed around them,
they could have stood at the bow of the boat without fear
and shouted at the top of their lungs, “Storm, you are not going to
harm us, nor will you stop us! We’re making it to the other side
because Jesus said we’re going to the other side. So get out of
out way!”

May we all live daily with that kind of bold faith and courage!

  1. In moments of fierce storms, it’s natural to feel fear and uncertainty. Yet, our faith in Jesus can give us courage to face these storms head-on. Like the disciples in the boat, we can stand firm, knowing that Jesus is with us and has promised to see us through to the other side. So let us boldly declare, “Storm, you have no power over us! Jesus is in control, and we will reach our destination safely because of Him.”
