Work in progress

First things first.

ladysheepdog, do not read this post as it is a quote from Charles Stanley.

There now that business is taken care of, this really stuck out to me today.

“How I choose to react reveals what my character is—and has the potential to impact onlookers, for better or worse. This is especially true for me as I follow Christ. My behavior should reflect who I am becoming in Him and demonstrate that I indeed being transformed.”

That’s what I want to be when I grow up! Thank God He is transforming me every day until I get to heaven!

  1. We are all “works in progress” or maybe even “caution! Construction site!” 🚧
Either way, the beauty is that we know the Builder personally and can trust Him completely! 😊
God bless you today sister 🙏

  2. I don’t throw out everything he said….he was a work in progress also…..and I’m not the perfect parent either….I just share observations sometimes…Andy desperately needs our prayers since he is not dead yet and can still change is ways and beliefs…

It seems I’ve offended you….we can work it out…I am now required to do my best to……I do have offerings to put on the altar…..you tell me what I can do to fix this, I’ll do my best to do that…..we take one day at a time….Susan.

    1. Oh Susan, I’m not at all offended. We are both works in progress. I just wanted to give you a heads up after the last comment you left. I just finished the book “Courageous Faith” about his life. They had entire sections about what happened and how they forgave each other. It was a really good book. My “job” is to encourage people and use the quirky way God made me to accomplish that task He has given me. Sometimes my sense of humor does not go off as I intended and I’m sorry if I offended you!

  3. I am always willing to be transformed by Him. As The Chosen’s Mary Magdalene said…..”I was one way, now I am completely different and the thing that happened in between was Him.” Redeemed and transformed. I strive for that constantly. Thank You Jesus for the work You are doing in me. 🛐✝️🕊️
