It all started out innocently enough. I was putting out paychecks in envelopes on the door to my office, so the employees could come grab them at the end of the day. A lady in the office next to me happened to be passing by and said she wanted a check too. I told her I could do that, and followed her back to her office. I took a pen and a post it note, and drew a check mark on it, and said, “There, now you have a check.” She started laughing and said, no she would prefer a real check, and if was a blank check, that would be better. So I printed off the image of a blank check and brought it to her. Now she said she would prefer if it were signed, so she could cash it for whatever amount she chose.

Later that night, I received some inspiration that I am sharing with you in this post. I printed off the same image of the blank check, but filled it in for her. I gave it to her the next morning, and she started crying. She said she loved it and would keep it always.

So I printed up a bunch more blank checks, filled them out the same way, but this time I inserted them into those envelopes you get from the bank for putting cash in. Then I have been placing them around on shelves in the stores for people to find and be blessed.

Because I fully believe with all my heart that God never writes a check that is going to bounce!

    It is clear that the Spirit of God is working in and through you to share the Good News with all who you meet. I pray that the dear lady who received the first of these creations will think deeply about the God who loves her and draw close to Him.
    May our Father God continue to guide you through all that you do for the Gospel, blessing those who you meet and blessing you too. 🙏

  6. I love this idea, Sister Super-C! And you made it even better by writing checks for things that money can’t buy. Like Jesus said, “What can someone give in exchange for their soul?” God’s forgiveness through Christ is truly priceless.
