Sometimes you are privileged to witness someone being a shining example of something so raw and magnificent it just brings you to tears.
That happened to me recently. I was at church on a Tuesday morning for corporate prayer. One woman started praising and speaking out her love for how wonderful God was and how grateful she was to have Him in her life. It was as if she was alone in the room with God, just the two of them. The more she spoke to Him the more overcome she was, and began to weep tears of joy. It was so moving and powerful that myself and others in the room were also moved to tears.
It was a shining example of how God alone is worthy of all our praise and how when expressed to Him you are so filled with the joy that only His presence can bring. What a great reminder to me, and now to you, that time spent sharing our love for God with Him is a tremendous blessing in our lives.
“Do you see what you’ve got? And unshakable kingdom! So do you see how thankful you must be? Not only thankful, but brimming with worship, deeply reverent before God.” (Gal. 2:20-21 [MSG])
I still get choked up remembering her pure worship and breakout with my own praises to God!

God Still Speaks 
Maybe this is what Paul meant when he said “pray without ceasing.” We can walk around on our own wavelength with God—like the woman you mentioned—and others are blessed (and draw closer to God) because of it.

What a beautiful example that dear sister was to you and your church, in fact to all of us. There is nothing quite like getting swept along in sweet prayer and praise of our Father God; I remember times when it began tentatively but built into a symphonic crescendo of humble, joyous praise. It is the best medicine for our soul without a doubt.
O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD,
Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation.
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving,
Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.
