Christmas travel

AAA estimates that over 119 million Americans will be traveling for Christmas this year.

So this post will be direct and to the point as you who are traveling, are busy checking your bags, standing in line, or driving.

My hope is in Jesus, because He sees Himself in me. (Charles Stanley)

How grateful I am every time I think of this. Jesus left heaven, came to earth as a vulnerable baby to restore us to relationship with God.

One day I will also have the opportunity to look into His eyes, and fall to my knees in awe for what he did for me, and for you.

Merry Christmas!

  1. I have not seen my grandchildren in Tennessee for just over a year. I was planning a short trip to see them, about as many driving days as visiting days, but my sister’s husband passed away suddenly, and my trip is being extended at little. Thank you for this blessing of sorts. This trip is definitely in God’s hands.

      1. Ever since the interstate bridge in the Twin Cities collapsed, they have been inspecting and fixing bridges. Where we are, there is usually another way around, but it might double the length of the trip. Odd, how we take bridges for granted. Maybe that’s why C.S. Lewis spoke of the great bridge builder in one of the Narnian books.
