In my last post, I was talking about being on the struggle bus. Yesterday I asked God for some encouragement. He was happy to answer.

First, in my morning devotion time, I read two verses that were completely spot on for my situation.

Next, at my office, I had someone come in who said we met in 2017, and at that time I encouraged him with a conversation and ended with telling him to be salty for Jesus. He said is really meant a lot and he wanted me to know that.

While driving home I was behind a person whose license plate read, “LVGWATR.” Living water! Yes! What a great reminder Lord!

As I pulled in the driveway to park, I pulled out my calendar/mileage guide, that I use to track my mileage for my taxes. What day did it say it was? “National Day of Encouragement!”

Isn’t that just like God? He wants you to ask, and when you do, He is happy to provide! What a good Father we have!

  2. Your post is a great reminder that we often find what we are looking for. In other words, what we concentrate on we get more of. Somewhere in Proverbs it says, “He who seeks good will finds favor, not evil comes to one who searches for it.”

  3. I love those days. Just one nudge might be shrugged off as “Did that really come from God?” But when they come in a flood, you just sit back and laugh. God makes Himself known to us, and sometimes in the most unusual of ways.
