Breath of fresh air

Sometimes at my ranch, there are stinky chores that must be done, and I mean that literally. Cleaning our areas/stalls after animals is one of those chores. But it must be done. Some spaces are close quarters and the smell gets overwhelming. Every so often you need to stop, step outside, and get a breath of fresh air.

Defined, a breath of fresh air refers to a new, fresh, and imaginative approach or someone who brings positivity and energy to a situation. It signifies a welcome change, especially after a period of routine, boredom, or negativity.

I’ve mentioned before, I have an email list that the approx. 65 persons who are on it, receive a joke each Wednesday to put a smile on there faces, to set the tone for the rest of their day.

One lady I recently added, replied stating that she really looks forward to getting them, as it is like a breath of fresh air.

“Do everything readily and cheerfully—no bickering, no second-guessing allowed! Go out into the world uncorrupted, a breath of fresh air in this squalid and polluted society. Provide people with a glimpse of good living and of the living God. Carry the light-giving Message into the night so I’ll have good cause to be proud of you on the day that Christ returns. Let’s be just that, in this stinky world we live in, to those we come into contact each day. Let’s be that welcome change in their lives.
