Some days I just fall to my knees in awe. I read this from Charles Stanley the other day and had to share it with you.
In the book of Leviticus the word sacrifice or offering comes from a root word that means to “approach” or “go near,” as in becoming personally involved in a relationship with someone.
So when we say, “I would give anything to draw near to you Lord” Jesus tells us, “I gave everything so that you could —always.
He wants us to be in relationship with Him even more profoundly and passionately than we do. So don’t deny Him. Appreciate His sacrifice, draw close, and love your Savior.
After reading that I could only say, “wow, really? You love me that much?”
And He says, “YES!” Accept and embrace it!

It’s in us to doubt that such love and sacrifice can come without us earning it. We’ve been working for everything our whole lives and taught to earn from a young age…then Jesus stepped in to our realm, earned our salvation for us, and extended to us the free gift of eternal life…really??😆
Thank God for extending such love to us, not only do I not deserve it, but I couldn’t ever earn it myself in a trillion lifetimes! God is so good!
Have a blessed day! Thanks for sharing such a simple yet profound truth!❤️
