We got some snow last night here in the Colorado Rockies. The fresh, light fluffy kind that is called powder. I’m sure a lot of employees are calling in “sick” today, so they can enjoy a powder day. Boy if it wasn’t tax season, I might be joining them! So I looked up on my local ski area’s website what a day pass would be.
They listed one called an Epic Day Pass. I like the name of that. Then Holy Spirit reminded me that every day I wake up, I have been given an Epic Day Pass. Another day to enjoy. Another day of fellowship with God and others. Another day to bring a smile of encouragement to someone else’s face.
Another day to behold the blessings and promises of God.
Epic defines means very impressive. That sound good to me. If God allowed me another day to be alive, I want to have a very impressive day. One that before I go to bed, I can look back on and say, “Wow, that was epic! Thank you Lord!”
Pastor Charles Stanely said it like this,” I shall involve Jesus in everything I’m doing, and pursue His perspective on everything I encounter. My heart will seek His presence at every turn which quiets all noisy distractions. Because there is something exceedingly wonderful about coming to the end of a day when I’ve been aware of Him moment by moment. It makes the most awesome difference in my life when I know His energy, peace and fulfillment.”
So when I get out of bed in the morning, I can say, “This is the day that the LORD has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Ps. 118:24 [NLT])
So act like every day you get an Epic Day Pass to enjoy, and make the most of it!

At first I thought it epic that you quoted Paul Stanley. But I guess I read it too quickly.
🙂
But even without a KISS quote, great post!
