Recently we were watching an old Western movie, and the folks in the wagon train were grateful that they made it across the swollen stream safely. So they stopped to praise God. (Don’t see that in many movies nowadays!) One gentleman was very enthusiastic, singing loudly and off key, but he didn’t care, he was just grateful.
The song they were singing was “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms.” So the next day I looked up some different versions on YouTube. I am including the link to the one I have since added to my playlist for you to enjoy.
Lean on, brothers and sister, lean on!
