“Seeing is believing” is perhaps one of the most uncontested idioms in the English language. Court cases are waged on the power of eyewitness testimony. This post is a continued testimony of my previous two posts. Because I am seeing God in everything!
I bought a small lamp with a shade for the bathroom, because sometimes the brightness of the overhead bulbs are just too much. The shade was slightly dinged up and bent, but it was the only one they had at the store that was small enough for the space I was going to put it.
Then I turned the lamp on and saw it. The crumpled up part of the lamp looked like an outline of a dove! I got a magic marker and followed the lines to make it more visible. Talk about being blown away!
As I was basking the the glow of God’s goodness to me yet again, I had the urge to get a piece of paper and trace the outline. Then I scanned it and uploaded it to Vistaprint where they helped me get the coloring scheme I wanted. I prayed about what wording to include, and felt “hope” was enough. (Because Hope is enough when you have Jesus!)
I am now having it printed into business cards that I can pass out. Leave them shelves in the grocery store, hand out to folks walking down the sidewalks, etc.
I’m going to dole out the hope that was just given to me as explained in my last two posts and by my amazing find in the lampshade!
Keep looking for God is everything! He loves showing us how much He loves us!
I can testify to that!

What a beautiful blessing indeed! And what an awesome servant you are to Father God in sharing His blessing with others. May He bless your testimony in those wee cards, and bear gospel fruit.

If you are not familiar with the music of the late Rich Mullins, do your soul a favor and listen to all of it that you can. Rich saw the world the way you do, Sister, as a gloriously beautiful creation reflecting the Glory of the Creator!
