Free upgrade offer!

Here’s your chance to upgrade your equipment, for FREE! No, I’m not talking about your phone or tablet, but your armor. Your spiritual armor. You can become a member of God’s SWAT team. (Special Weapons And Tactics)

We are in hand to hand combat with the forces of darkness, and we need to use both the offensive and defensive weapons that God gives us access to in Ephesians 6:10-18 [GNT]

“Finally, build up your strength in union with the Lord and by means of his mighty power. Put on all the armor that God gives you, so that you will be able to stand up against the Devil’s evil tricks. For we are not fighting against human beings but against the wicked spiritual forces in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities, and cosmic powers of this dark age. So put on God’s armor now! Then when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist the enemy’s attacks; and after fighting to the end, you will still hold your ground. So stand ready, with truth as a belt tight around your waist, with righteousness as your breastplate, and as your shoes the readiness to announce the Good News of peace. At all times carry faith as a shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by the Evil One. And accept salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you. Do all this in prayer, asking for God’s help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God’s people.”

I asked an insider in the police department, (I’ve always wanted to say something like that!) what equipment he wears when on duty. The thing that stuck out the most was that they now have bullet proof vests that carry the equipment that might normally go on their belts. He said this saves their backs when sitting in the patrol car, as all that stuff would bulge and poke in their backs, causing pain in the future. He said he also wears suspenders under his vest to hold up his belt, to relieve the weight of the items on the belt, which saves them hips issues later.

So this free upgrade offer to your modernized weapons are as follows:

  • Camouflaged helmet (of salvation) with a two-way radio, to stay in constant communication with God; and night vision goggles, to see the enemy in the dark and to see through satan’s lies.
  • Bullet proof vest and flack jacket (breastplate of righteousness) to protect you from enemy fire.
  • Tactical belt (belt of truth) with pepper spray, stun gun, handcuffs, flashlight, grenades, smoke bombs, and hand gun.
  • Steel toed boots (shoes of peace) to protect you from whatever satan drops on you and cleats to help you stand firmly in a place of peace.
  • Bullet proof SWAT shield (shield of faith)
  • Fully automatic assault rifle with armor piercing rounds (Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God)

As we are definitely seeing evil trying to gain the upper hand in the world now, we need to suit up and join God’s SWAT team today. This offer is freely given, all you have to do is put it on. Every. Single. Day. It is that important. Join me my warrior friends in standing firm! And remember best of all, the battle is the Lord’s! Best Commander ever!

  1. God’s SWAT team. I love it! It’s important to remember we need ALL of the Lord’s armor. Leaving off anything can mean exposing ourselves to spiritual injury. That’s why it’s so cool that you listed each part. BTW, I once had a poster of the Forth Worth PD SWAT team hanging in my Seminary dorm room. A classmate saw it and remarked, “I thought we’re supposed to let the Lord fight our battles?” “That’s right,” I said. “Fort Worth SWAT just holds the bad guys until the Lord can get there.”
